Double Arm Reels

Double arm reels are ideal for continuous line operation and can drastically reduce coil change downtime. The material can be loaded and readied on one side of the reel while the opposite side is paying out stock. By depressing a shot pin in the base, the new coil of material can be rotated 180 degrees into position for threading. Optional hydraulic threading (for non-powered reels), hydraulic expansion, and hydraulic rotation are available.

Cradles
Cradle/Straightener Combinations 4,000 - 40,000 lb.

	This unit uses standard cradle construction with a powered straightener. All of our powered straighteners have a hardened gear train, and all feature cluster gears on both the entrance and ext pinch rolls. All bottom straightening rolls are powered. Unit shown is 12,000 lb. cradle with 3.5" diameter, five-roll powered straightener.

Cradle Options

Optional hydraulic tilting pinch rolls assembly enhances operator safety by enabling the operator to direct heavy-gauge material to the feed system hands free.
Massive coil hold down arm - suitable for containing the thickest, hardest materials
Hydraulic peeler/breaker assembly - used for hands-free threading of thick materials. Induces a reverse-bend allowing the lead edge of the material to be easily thread up.
Optional precision machined roller track allows smooth flow of material though overhead deflector.

Upenders
Feed Lease upenders handle 48” wide x 60” O.D. coils as standard. Wider coils and 72” O.D. are available, and standard capacities range from 10,000 to 20,000 lb. Optional nylon facing for “V” block prevents possible scratching of outer coil surface. Optional 180 degree powered horizontal rotation allows loading and unloading of coils in the same direction.

The machine pictured at left is a standard 10,000 lbs. capacity upender with controls (optional 180 degree rotation and narrow coil supports are available).

	Hydraulic upenders can also be integrated into coil feeding lines to directly up end coils by indexing 90o Three phase motor and gear box driven
