Medium Duty

	These rugged, yet affordable, straighteners are designed to work with our Precision and Performance Series servo feeds. The MPS Series comes with seven, 2.5" diameter straightener rolls and larger diameter entry pinch rolls, in widths from 12" to 36". The Performance Series have 3.5" diameter straightener rolls and are built up to 60" wide.
		All pinch and lower straightener rolls driven through a precision gear train.
		High Torque, AC variable frequency (flux vector) drives. Motor and reducer directly driven into lower straightener roll.
		High torque jacks used for straightener rolls adjustment for superior alignment and reduced operator effort (5:1 ratio)
All machine bases are double welded for added structural integrity and use high strength, high carbon base materials. Roller bearings are sized to exceed specified loads, and rotating and striking surfaces are flame hardened (RC 58-62).   Back to top

Heavy Duty

6,000 lb. capacity, 60” O.D. powered double coil reel	Heavy-Duty Series straighteners are built for the most demanding stamping applications. They come in four roll sizes 4.25", 5", 6.5" and 8").
	These massive straighteners can be used in a conventional feed line, within the base of a huge cradle with overhead deflector, or they can be converted into our Servo Powered Feeder/Straightener when space is at a premium.

Alligator Pivoting Head

“There has got to be a better way!” This exclamation is sure to have been heard over and over again in many a stamping plant. Why the frustration? Because trying to clean metal chips, paint, etc. from the rolls of a conventional powered straightener is a slow and cumbersome project that chews away at productions uptime. “There has got to be a better way!” Well, now there is. Feed Lease Corp. now offers a pivoting straightener head opening for quick and effective straightener roll cleaning. Pivoting the head open with the upper rolls lifting in a way similar to that of the opening of an alligator’s mouth, these “Alligator” head straighteners provide a vastly improved way of cleaning the rolls of a powered straightener.

Alligator head offers easy access for roll cleaning Ideal for cosmetic material or running cosmetic and non-cosmetic material on same line. The "Safe" mode ensures operator safety during cleaning.

Upper rolls turn with included handle, and lower rolls turn 1/4 turn-at-a-time with jog pendant for safe, quick cleaning. Air/hydraulic cylinders or hydraulic motor with screw assembly opens the straightener head (Optional keyed switch for optimum safety).
